Freddy D'herckers

I offer 30 years business experience of which 20 years were spent at operational and senior level and the last 10 years as a top executive for one of the most competitive multi-national companies.

• I was educated at the "Chambre Belge des Comptables et Experts-Comptables"(CBCEC)" Liège, Belgium.
  
  
• From 1976 to 1984 I enjoyed a career in all aspects of finance, completed by two years of Operational Audit for Jacobs Suchard in Europe.
  
  
• Finance Director from 1984 to 1994 for top ranking companies such as Schlumberger and Kraft Jacobs Suchard in locations including Western Europe, Mexico and Hungary.
  
  
• Beginning in 1995 I joined Pepsi-Cola in Czech and Slovakia with a senior role in management moving on to British American Tobacco (BAT) in 1997 as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for Africa, Middle-East,South and Central Asia.
  
  
• Post merger between BAT and Rothmans in early 1999, I have been appointed Finance Director for Germany and Eastern Europe except Russia, with the objective of integrating this part of the world into the vision of the newly merged company until 2002.
  
  
• I then moved back to CFO positions, first in Northern Europe and finally in Latin America and Carribeans.
